Vertex AI has excellent documentation, comprehensive REST/gRPC APIs, and strong reliability backed by Google Cloud infrastructure. However, account creation requires a Google Cloud project with billing setup (no programmatic account provisioning), and the free tier has limited usage without credit card registration. The lack of an MCP server and llms.txt reduces discoverability. Best suited for agents operating within established GCP environments where authentication is pre-configured.
