Reviewer Notes
Spike lacks foundational agent-native infrastructure—no MCP server, OpenAPI spec, or llms.txt file makes discovery extremely difficult. Account creation requires OAuth2 only with no programmatic signup path, creating a hard blocker for autonomous agent onboarding. While Spike offers a free tier and has reasonable reliability as a mature communication platform, the absence of structured API documentation and agent-specific tooling severely limits agent integration capabilities. The tool is built primarily for human users, not AI automation.
